The New Scholars Network for Humanists and Social Scientists will hold a workshop entitled "Sound, Communities, Archives" featuring with Matt Gilchrist and Tom Keegan from the IDEAL (Iowa Digital Engagement and Learning) Lab as well as Jeremy Morris from the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

An Evening with Alex Blumberg – Distinguished Lecture Series
Blumberg was a radio journalist at “This American Life,” and the co-producer of “Planet Money.” He has also recently launched Gimlet Media, a for-profit podcast network focusing on narrative journalism and story-telling, which has produced several incredibly popular podcasts such as “StartUp,”, “Reply All,” and “Mystery Show”. The lecture is Tuesday, December 1st, 2015
